To be successful…

“Photography is my way of talking to people and being part of communities. I mean that both in terms of the people I photograph and my fellow photographers. I deeply enjoy the camaraderie of it all…To be successful, from my point of view, is to make as many connections as I can. I love the fact that photography has given me friends all over the world. In the end, if I never take another great photo, I’ll be happy about the relationships I have made. Maybe that is why much of my photography seems so personal.”
