Frestar med en turistbild. Kan lägga till att jag plåtade genom bagageutrymmet på en buss, som visade sig transportera soldater.
Hämtar ut min senast inköpta bok: ”Approaching Photography”, Paul Hill. En slags lärobok, de första kapitlen är om ”basic aspects of photographic image making and practice: how to express yourself and communicate through photography”, de senare kapitlen tar upp ”different attitudes found in contemporary photography concerning the photographer as an observer of events and people, celebrant of nature and manmade objects, psychological chronicler, fine artist, conceptualist and polemist.” Så då vet ni.
Har bara hunnit till förorden, men redan hittat ett bra citat:”The enemy of photography is the convention, the fixed rules of ”how to do”. The salvation of photography comes from the experiment.” Lazlo Maholy-Nagy, photographic artist and teacher.
Det tycker jag är en riktigt bra början på en bok!
